Snack, Soda and Something For Soldiers

Dear Friends and Family:

As many of you know I have had the privilege of working for Delta Air Lines since March 2008. During my time at Delta Air Lines I have had the opportunity to work with and meet some of the most interesting people who have touched my life, and left a mark on my heart.

For many years I have heard the story of a fellow Delta Flight Attendant Robin Schmidt who has given unselfishly of herself, her time, and made a deep financial commitment to our soldiers.

Each day on every flight Robin passes out more than a genuine smile with snacks and sodas, she passes out journals. Passengers are asked to take a moment to pen a few kind words of encouragement, stories, and simple thank yous for our soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.

After the journals have been filled, they are packaged with a “care package” and shipped out.

Right now we have all been asked to help any way we can with various charities, and organizations during the tough economic times here in the U.S.A and with the relief efforts abroad.

I am asking each of you to help me to help Robin grow her charitable efforts. Your donation in any amount is greatly appreciated. Robin has been purchasing, shipping and managing these efforts herself. Between you and I we can help her to continue to grow her efforts and reach more of our soldiers who continue to fight.

Please send your donations to:

Robin Schmidt PO Box 122037 Covington, KY 41012-2037

I have enclosed a link to a great story about Robin and her efforts.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

I have made my donation to be mailed out on Monday, and I ask you to do the same.

Kevin
